Subject Posts

It's almost second year, which means it's almost time to pick your subject post, which basically means pick what you're going to specialize in. I don't really understand how this process works because even though they're like, "PICK SOMETHING YOU'RE REALLY INTERESTED IN" they have a cap on every major/specialist department. For example, I really really wanted to take the immunology specialist, but guess what? It turns out that you need at least a 3.8 GPA and they only take 30 students. OH WOW. THERE GOES MY DREAM DOWN THE DRAIN.

And then I figured, hey, don't give up just yet, there are A LOT of options. So I'm like, "You know what, pathology sounds really good to me too." So I check out the requirements, "Oh 3.6 average, 40 students tops." Okay... erm... so uhhh... if there are more than -2000- students in lifesci at Toronto, how do all of them get into a subject post?

"Oh there's this category called HUMAN BIOLOGY. It doesn't have a cap or a GPA requirement, so a lot of people choose that category."

PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFT. OKAY?! I bet NO ONE freely chooses that category, people are probably just forced to take that because they have no where else to go. And sadly, it's probably going to be where I'm going to end up. But whatever.

"There are a lot of options that do not have GPA requirements or limited spots."
"Oh really?"
"There's human biology. And. Yeah human biology majors."
"Like what?"
"Like... global health."

Oh brilliant. Global health... sounds... really... interesting.

Yeah, I don't know man. *confused*

But you know... things will eventually work out. I'm going to Kingston this weekend to VISIT my AWESOME idiotic friend... whom I love dearly, of course.

Then the week after is DIRTY GIRLS' NIGHT OUT!!! I have a feeling it's going to be so sickkkk. It better be.

So here's tonight's plan:
~go shower
~brush my teeth
~comfy, fresh, shitty tired BUT vigorated
~math notes
~biology notes
~east asian study notes
~if time, psychology notes
~catch 1-2 hours of sleep
